Love at first click

I received an early Christmas present last night! Aaron got me a Canon Rebel XSi! It is a very nice camera. It will take some time to fully understand its full potential, but I will get there. I already have one other lens picked out that I want and I know of another I want, but haven't found the exact one yet.

I love photography, and I am finally getting back into it. I guess it runs in the blood. My parents have always enjoyed photography as a hobby, and my dad has a photography business. He however does landscapes and wild animals(Hocharts Photography); I am more into people. I guess I like capturing emotions more than anything. So as I learn how to perfect my skills, I will share on here.

Striving for Identity
I think this is my favorite so far. I like how his name is in the background, yet you can't see his eyes or most of his face, so you really don't know who it is.





I was hoping to get Chloe a little crisper, but I still thought it turned out pretty good. Notice how I tried to create a backdrop, but it didn't really work out that well.
