Rest in Peace Landon Jacob Castillo

My dear friends Erin and Charlie said goodbye to their darling baby boy this morning. Landon had trisomy 13, which is fatal. They learned that Landon had trisomy 13 when Erin was pregnant, which gave them time to prepare for the inevitable. The average life of a trisomy 13 baby is 2.5 days. Landon was such a fighter and lived nearly two months. Charlie and Erin have been so courageous through this entire situation and were such loving and strong parents. I know they are aching more than I can ever imagine, but they have chosen to be happy and celebrate Landon's life. That right there makes me admire them even more.



Goodbye Sweet Landon, you will be missed.
